I refuse to speak about politics over food because it is very bad for digestion.....
I will say this though-
Americans that lie in the middle left ("liberals") are VERY sensitive about Obama.
Seems that any kind of negative comment or doubt about the man's intentions/ideas/plans are out of line. Even a crude joke about Obama is quickly discarded and the person who said it becomes an instant asshole.
This may be the dawn of a new Gestapo- a Naive and over Optimist one.
Where anything deemed negative will get erased- comments that aren't positive or favorable will be disregarded as fascist or racist and those that do not hold the popular opinion will not be invited to fancy parties.
Be careful "libs"... Don't act like all the ol' geezers and cunts that have been running things for a while.
Us Apolitical folk will be over by the pie table minding our own business.
